Peter Marx, Rajit Gadh Speak at February e4 Mobility Meeting

Rajit Gadh, Director, UCLA-SMERC presented an overview of the numerous applied research projects his center is involved in throughout Southern California

Featured speakers for the February 11 e4 Mobility Alliance meeting included City of Los Angeles Chief Innovation Officer Peter Marx and renowned UCLA-SMERC professor Rajit Gadh.

The meeting was hosted by LACI in their new offices at the La Kretz Innovation Campus, 525 S. Hewitt Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013. The meeting was followed by a tour of the new facility.

Gadh gave attendees an overview of the numerous projects the UCLA Smart Grid Energy Research Center (UCLA – SMERC) are involved in throughout Southern CA including WINSmartGrid TM, Vehicle to Grid, Grid Tie Inverter, renewable grid and more projects. Peter Marx shared details about the launch of the Xerox-piloted GoLA app, it’s evolving tools, and more.

Marx gave an overview of the new Xerox piloted travel planning app, Go LA which recently launched in Los Angeles as the first city to have an opporunity to utilize its services. You can read more about the collaboration between Xerox and the City of Los Angeles here.
